2. Cancellations by the Customer

a. Event Catering Orders

  • More than 7 days before the event:
    A full refund will be provided, minus any non-refundable deposits or costs already incurred (e.g. special ingredient purchases).

  • 3–7 days before the event:
    A partial refund may be issued at Didicatering’s discretion.

  • Less than 72 hours before the event:
    No refund will be provided due to preparation, staffing, and ingredient commitments.

b. Changes to Orders

Changes to menu items, guest numbers, or event details must be requested at least 5 days prior to the event. Changes requested after this time may not be accommodated.

3. Deposits

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Deposits secure your booking and cover administrative and preparation costs.

4. Faulty or Unsatisfactory Services (Australian Consumer Law)

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or compensation if our services:

  • Were not provided with due care and skill

  • Were not fit for the purpose agreed upon

  • Were not delivered as described

If there is a major failure with our service, you may choose a refund or compensation.

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically completed within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

6. Cancellations by Didicatering

In the rare event that Didicatering must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund, including any deposits paid.​
